Before any carpentry and joinery starts
- Free consultation - to discuss requirements, budgets, and you can ask lots of questions
- Discus any designs of bespoke kitchens, bespoke staircase, bespoke fitted wardrobes
- A detailed quotation to show what labour and materials are needed to carry out the work. The price also shows VAT
- In order to work within your budget - we need to know what your budget is. If your budget is £10,000 for a £50,000 project - is there any point in continuing? It determines whether your project is achievable and realistic. We are not here to maximise your budget. We are here to make your project affordable
- A deposit taken and dates to start the work secured
- Materials for your project ordered in time to start the work
- Our aim and promise is to ensure that you have the quality workmanship with your bespoke carpentry and joinery that you deserve.
During your project
- Typically we arrive between 08:00am - 09:00am and run through what will be happening over the day(s)
- Any carpets and flooring are protected with protective covering whilst we prep and get started.
- This is also a time to discuss if there are any hidden extras that may be applicable.
- Our trusted plasterer or electrician may be needed, so may come and carry out their work
- If your are having a bespoke kitchen, bespoke staircase, bespoke doors or bespoke fitted wardrobe, we may be working at the Joinery for a few days creating your bespoke items
- Typically we will aim to finish between 16:00-17:00pm each day
- Every Friday is an invoice day, depending on the size of your job, you may receive an invoice from us
**It is not always possible to know if there are going to be any extras until you start the work and take a look behind the scenes. At every opportunity we will give you an honest account for any additional work**
Your bespoke project is finished
- Time to do a final clean and have any skips removed
- We take you around the work we have carried out to inspect and make sure you are happy with it.
- Any snags will be noted and rectified to your satisfaction
- Should there be any involvement with the building inspectors, then we will arrange for them to carry out their final inspection.
- Only when we have your sign off with the completed work will we ask for final payment to be settled.
- Now your get to enjoy your bespoke kitchen, bespoke staircase, bespoke fitted wardrobes, bespoke doors, skirtings, architraves, loft conversion, single extension, double extension - or a whole house renovation - whatever your project may be
